# Owner Scorecard > Owner Scorecard is an independent research publication: the ten-year owner's record for thousands of listed companies, every figure traced to the company's own SEC filings. No ratings, no price targets, no estimates. The doctrine is to present, never pronounce: the record is laid out plain and the judgment is left to the reader. Company scorecards live at https://ownerscorecard.com/c/{TICKER} for US filers and ADRs (for example https://ownerscorecard.com/c/ADBE); the Japan catalog lives at https://ownerscorecard.com/jp/{CODE} by securities code (for example https://ownerscorecard.com/jp/4502). Each page carries roughly a decade of revenue, margins, returns on capital, owner earnings, buybacks, share count, and debt, every figure traced to the company's own filings. Each has a JSON twin: the full record at /c/{TICKER}.json (US and ADR pools) and the slim comparison card at /compare/{TICKER}.json (all pools, Japan included). Data vintage: the pipeline's own as-of stamps, never the build clock; currently 2026-08-17 to 2026-08-20. Citing this site: every scorecard and Note ends with a Cite block, and the JSON record carries the same line under suggestedCitation. The format is: Owner Scorecard, "Company Name (TICKER), the owner's record," https://ownerscorecard.com/c/TICKER, data as of YYYY-MM-DD. For a short credit, "Owner Scorecard (ownerscorecard.com), data from SEC filings" is requested, never required. The publication carries no ratings, price targets, or estimates, so no page or endpoint contains a judgment to quote; figures and their sources only. ## Notes - [The Fed Won’t Take Away the Punch Bowl, But the Party May Stop Anyway](https://ownerscorecard.com/notes/the-party-may-stop-anyway): A week of Warsh's can-kicking, a hedge fund margined out, and earnings from companies converting themselves from capital-light compounders into capital-intensive businesses that finance their own largest customers. The index Graham and Bogle prescribed for the defensive investor now carries counterparty risk to two private labs that have never published a financial statement. - [The Moat and the Multiple](https://ownerscorecard.com/notes/the-moat-and-the-multiple): Adobe grew earnings by two-thirds and lost two-thirds of its price. All of the decline was the multiple, and what a multiple prices, at bottom, is the moat. The note weighs the record against the fear and ends in the too-hard pile. - [Weeds and Flowers](https://ownerscorecard.com/notes/weeds-and-flowers): Graham fixed his test for second-grade bonds to the late-1971 tape, when first-rate paper paid 7 1/4 percent. Run against the AI bond wave of 2026 and a 2.69% high-yield spread, it returns the one conclusion this publication permits itself, dated and entered beside its base rate. - [The Founding Letter](https://ownerscorecard.com/notes/the-founding-letter): A free tool for the enterprising investor Ben Graham described: the record a company files, and never a rating, a price target, or a live quote, under the disclosure rules the publication holds itself to. ## Core - [Catalog](https://ownerscorecard.com/catalog): search and browse every scorecard - [The Filing Wire](https://ownerscorecard.com/wire): the latest SEC filings as they arrive, with each filer's own figures - [The Almanac](https://ownerscorecard.com/almanac): a census of the whole catalog — base rates from primary filings, e.g. what fraction of companies earned 15% on capital over a decade, how many carry net cash, how many clear Graham's defensive tests; distributions and counts only, never a ranking - [Compare](https://ownerscorecard.com/compare): two to four businesses side by side, on the record and on what a price would have to assume - [Principles](https://ownerscorecard.com/concepts): how to read a filing, and every measure used, defined - [About](https://ownerscorecard.com/about): what this publication is and is not - [Corrections](https://ownerscorecard.com/corrections): the public log of published errors and their fixes - [Terms of Use](https://ownerscorecard.com/terms): the terms and disclaimer — informational only, not investment advice, data provided without warranty ## Browse - [Groupings](https://ownerscorecard.com/groupings): the catalog arranged by what the businesses do, in two depths. 11 sector tables at /groupings/sector/{sector-slug} (for example https://ownerscorecard.com/groupings/sector/financials), each the whole sector on the columns all its members can answer; 101 industry tables at /groupings/{industry-slug} (for example https://ownerscorecard.com/groupings/banks), each on the columns that kind of business is actually read on. Plain factual columns, sortable, never a ranking - [Industry chapters](https://ownerscorecard.com/industries/enterprise-software): 101 chapters at /industries/{slug}, each industry's companies across all pools; the full list is in /llms-full.txt - [The Manual](https://ownerscorecard.com/manual): every company in fixed alphabetical order, three volumes at /manual/us/{A-Z}, /manual/adr/{A-Z}, and /manual/japan - [The Defensive Workbook](https://ownerscorecard.com/tests/defensive): Graham's defensive-investor tests as his own worksheet, one row per company, every figure shown - [Net-nets](https://ownerscorecard.com/tests/net-nets): Graham's net-current-asset-value ledger, arithmetic shown - [Flags](https://ownerscorecard.com/flags): five registers of disqualifying facts at /flags/{register}, each a single kind of fact with the figure that fired - [Withheld](https://ownerscorecard.com/withheld): the records this publication could not read reliably, each with its specific reason ## Data - [Endpoint documentation](https://ownerscorecard.com/docs/data): every public JSON endpoint with its URL, exact shape, a real example, freshness semantics, and the terms (free, no key, attribution requested) - [Company index](https://ownerscorecard.com/company-index.json): every covered ticker and name across all pools, one JSON file - [The raw record](https://ownerscorecard.com/c/ADBE.json): per-company JSON at /c/{TICKER}.json with roughly a decade of filed line items, provenance, and a suggested citation; no ratings or derived judgments - [Record card](https://ownerscorecard.com/compare/ADBE.json): the slimmer per-company card at /compare/{TICKER}.json, with reverse-DCF inputs - [Wire lite](https://ownerscorecard.com/wire-lite.json): the day's filings as compact tuples, refreshed daily - [Follow context](https://ownerscorecard.com/follow-context.json): one row per company — name, industry chapter, latest annual filing - [Full index](https://ownerscorecard.com/llms-full.txt): every grouping table and industry chapter URL, one line each ## Feeds - [The Filing Wire (Atom)](https://ownerscorecard.com/wire.xml): the day's SEC filings, newest first, one entry per filing keyed by its accession number, each linking the filer's record page — the site's daily-changing stream, machine-subscribable - [Research Notes (RSS)](https://ownerscorecard.com/rss.xml): the publication's Notes as they are published - [Sitemap](https://ownerscorecard.com/sitemap-index.xml)
